I
Grew up in East San Jose Ca. in the barrios of King &
Story, Attended Lee Mattson Jr. High in 1970 one of the roughest
middle schools in East San Jose at the time, I attended Yerba
Buena High School in 1974 where
I meet my beautiful princess (now wife) Connie Lopez,
then Graduated in 1977
I got interested in
music at a young age of 5 years old when I remember going to my next
door neighbors house and strumming the
strings of an electric guitar he got for Christmas
Music was always
heard at The Silva residence where my lovely mother Sara would
play albums of Mexican music and sing out loud along
with the music all day long as she
did the house work and prepared our daily dinner
As a young boy I used
to sneak my brother Tony's Guitar and play it for hours until I would
break a string trying to bend the note passed its capacity, I
would then
hide the guitar in a closet and hope Tony would think he broke it!,
You remember Tony!
Thank you
Tony for the musical influence you
had on me as I was growing up, I love you bro

with several local groups and have had the opportunity to share the
stage with members of groups like Tower Of Power,Juan Escoveto, Gorge
Santana, Malo ,Litle Joe, Tierra, Sappo,
