Steve Rocha
Trombone / Vocals

Steve began his musical
career at the young age of nine years old. Born in Fresno, Ca. and
raised in Stockton Ca, he began studying trumpet and while living in
Stockton, switched to trombone. After graduating from high school, he
attended The Conservatory of Music at University of the Pacific in
Stockton, on a music scholarship. While in college, he auditioned
for the Stockton Symphony and earned the Principal Trombone position.
During his career he has performed with various artists. Artist like
Bob Hope, Tony Tenille, Lorna Luft, Little Joe, Denise Williams, Sammy
Davis Jr., Vic Damone, Bill Watrous, Bobby Shew, The Manhattans,
Evelyn "Champagne" King, Joe Williams, Tierra, El
Chicano, The Vern Brooks Big Band, to name a few. He's not
limited to only performing with artists like these, but he has
also played in the pit orchestras for musicals and operas. Steve
also was a member of latin rock band " Malo ",
for 14 years wich took him all over the world
performing such legendary hits like
"Suavecito" "Nena"
"Cafe" "Lady I Love".
When not playing music, Steve teaches trombone and teaches
full-time as a Literacy Program instructor.
